So on the way home this evening me & the kids admired the moon... (did you see it?, GORGEOUS!) ...we even pulled over and watched as if something was going to happen... a sliver of picture perfect moon-ness atop the mountain ridge... perfect enough to hop on to & swing... And then we were on our way... the kids grabbed their respective music machines (haha) and that something happened. (Personally I think the kids LIKE to see me cry...) ...Zen announces were gonna play moon songs and (of course) Kat was like-too late-I got this... and the Moon Song from the movie Her came on. (Both versions). The tears wouldnt stop. (The movie version is linked here ONLY because the pics we took didnt give our moment of moon admiration justice). Why tears? Well, I was bathing in the love of a truly beautiful phenomenon with two of the most incredible people on the planet & theres a line in the song about being a million miles away which is what Katia will be this time next year. Then Zens choice comes on... I didnt know whether to laugh or cry... Frank Sinatra serenaded us the rest of the way home safely. I am blessed, I am blessed, I am blessed.
