So one week of filming at Pinelands North completed...with the brilliant Maggie from Ashoka and the exceptionally talented Nathan from GoodFight Media - learnt so much! Looking forward with anticipation to the finished product! Watch this space...it was great to end the week at the District Six Museum, showing Maggie more about our city and other stories that needed to be told. It made me proud too to see my family members represented- especially my Uncle Stan Abrahams who passed away in 2008, but his dream of the District Six museum had been realised by then! Also so proud of my precious friend Yvette Andrews whos crucial work with the Healing of Memories Workshops, helped to tell some very important stories- that may never have been told! My uncles Abe and Vincent and aunts Ros and Dot are also in these pics:)
