So our charismatic Heavenly Joy experienced her first taste of persecution last night at a friends Halloween party. A majority of our community is Jewish, so we all knew what she chose to wear last night was bound to stir things up, but we were confident Heavenly could handle it. Heavenly was so proud & zealous when we left the house! When we arrived, everyone was asking, Who are you dressed as? And Heavenlys reply everytime was, Jesus mother, Mary!! This is Jesus in my belly The reactions were, Thats hilarious, Oh my God, Look at her, thats so funny... By the end of the night Heavenly was asked by one more person when we were leaving, whats that? As they pointed to her belly, she responded , with her head down, just a pillow... Heavenly came to me & sat on the sofa & was about to cry & said, TeeTee, why is everybody laughing at me? I said, Imagine how the real Mary felt, really pregnant, everybody was talking about her, saying bad things about her and about the baby she was going to have. But she stayed strong continued to stand for God because she knew GOD chosen her for a special purpose... Just as He has chosen you! I told her...always remember this verse... Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. She was proud & happy after our talk & she said, When we get home, can we watch The Hiding Place?
