So our excitement of staring a new school year was shattered this morning when we found out that Mrs Adams life skills class is no more, due to the provinces policy on inclusion Eliesha will be attending regular class and will be isolated form her peers, her first class in the morning is going to be financial math..............Eliesha and other kids who have special needs need to learn real life skills, she needs to learn how to feed and dress herself, she is non verbal and cant even count, how is she going to manage sitting though these classes? They have the answer for that when the pressure of sitting there is too much, she will be taken to a green room where she will be by herself................. Wake up powers that be and live a day in the life of a parent of a child with special needs.
