So, over on Fox News Channel, they have pundits who say that women should stick to raising children, and men should be primary the breadwinners, and that it is "bad" for children when the woman is the primary money earner. So, even in this day and age when women are the main income generators in more households than ever, women still average 77% the income of men, and I have a feeling that it is exactly because of attitudes from people like this.
