So, part of my job is going to visit our Jefferson City MO Scholastic peeps and presenting them with our seasonal list of titles--I love doing it, getting to know wonderful people I would otherwise only know through email and phone. I bring little things for them that connect to the books we are doing--those cool japanese erasers, in the shapes of dinosaurs and elephants; train hats for our train book; fish fortune tellers for RAVEN BOYS; etc. To keep things interesting, I throw the toys at them while I am making my presentation. Fun for me and keeps everyone awake;-) This time, the crew in MO had a plan--they had things to throw at me! Puzzle pieces, that went together to create a puzzle, and each employee signed a piece, so the backside has all their signatures. I LOVE IT!! Thank you, MO Scholastic family xoxo
