So people seem to want to villainize me for what happened on - TopicsExpress

So people seem to want to villainize me for what happened on Saturday during Pumpkinfest. Fine, if that helps you sleep through the night by all means, blame me. Its not like I took my own personal time to try and work with the powers-that-be to separate pumpkinfest from the KSC party scene. No one would even discuss the option of moving pumpkinfest... until now anyway. Well guess what? Im not surprised at all with what happened Saturday. Actually, correct that, I am surprised. Im surprised that it wasnt much, much worse. And you know who I have to thank for it not being worse than it was? Police Chief Meola, thats who! He and all the other officers and emergency crews under his command did a spectacular job this weekend and I thank them for that. Ruth Sterling, you want to lash out at me for what happened this weekend? By all means, bring it on! Susan Hott wants to make stupid assumptions about my character in a public forum and then provide this in response: Darryl, Please accept my apology. I was mistaken and thought you were the reporter. Bring it! But I notice you didnt delete your stupid post or even scrub my name from it when you learned how my friends will step up for me! So your apology means nothing to me. I am disappointed this could be the history of pumpkinfest. At least if last year had been the end of it, Keene could have gone out on a high note with reclaiming the world record. Now we simply have Keene looking like the laughing stock of the week. Sincerely, Darth Darryl - eternal villain of the Keene Pumpkinfest (insert ominous breathing sound here)
