So posted about two American Bulldog puppies that were available from a breeder in Adairsville...the one my friend purchased her new puppy from. Well I was looking in my messages and found in my other folder a message from a lady who was interested in them, saying she would take both puppies. I messaged her back to clarify that she was referring to the American Bulldog puppies, she said yes. So I then proceeded to tell her that I was not the seller of these puppies, but that she could follow the link and it would lead her to the breeder and that these puppies were not free, they are pure bred and come with papers/bloodlines ect. She then responded by say she didnt believe in paying for animals. So needless to say I responded, as nicely as possible, that raising and caring for animals is not free and that to care for them properly so they are either born healthy or adopted or even purchased healthy, requires money! I support rescuing animals, I also support purchasing an animal of the specific breed YOU want. Even if you adopt an animal, there is a reason you pay an adoption fee...the funds have to come from somewhere! Saying you dont believe in paying for animals bc you should get it FREE for wanting to give it a home is like me telling you not to have a child bc there are plenty that need to be adopted (which you also have to PAY a fee) Its your dog...if you want to pay for it, then thats your business...Rant over..:) Oh, she then proceeded to ask me to help her find an American bulldog that her husband would pay a little for but it had to be a puppy. I told her i didnt know of any....
