So recently, some people think I handled a few situations unprofessionally....& why? Because I expressed my feelings and frustrations on Facebook & Twitter and you keep yours bottled up or only vent to people via DM, text, or paper journals? Because I decided not to waste my time planning/organizing events for people that dont show up? Because I was personally insulted, and Im supposed to sit back and hold my tongue and be ok with it for what people think is the greater good or the Bigger picture. #hellno In the case of Donald Sterling, saying what you feel has consequences, especially in a world where everything is taped, recorded and available to be sent to the masses, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt say what you feel. To be me, you have to be ok with the consequences of speaking your mind. And I am VERY ok with it. I dont care how many organizations I run, represent, am the face of, I will never sit back and be silent. Its not about pleasing people and saying what THEY want you to say, or doing what THEY want you to do. Its not about having everyone like you because you smile in their face with a fake smile even though youre pissed as all get up. Its not worth it to me to not say how I really feel. I will NEVER not speak up, no matter how much this makes people not like me, or not want to work with me, or not want to associate with me.
