So...research is out...and wow...Alabama sucks on it...in just about every way imaginable. ...and in someways, I couldnt agree more. People need to pull their heads out of Roll Tide and War Eagle...and understand that there is an actual world out there beyond the football stadium...where progress actually takes place...where the civilized world has moved on beyond the civil war...where Obama isnt the one who needs to take the blame for our level of suck...where Fox News, The Blaze, or MSN isnt gospel...where politicians shouldnt win an election for simply labeling their opponents a liberal...where people arent prejudiced towards someone from one of those weird countries simply because they literally never left town, much less the state before...where folks care about other members of humanity because they are human beings, not just only when it hits home and disaster strikes in their back yards...where youre not a liberal just because you care about something other than football, beer, trucks, and fishin...and where science and education matters - not just because God says so. The sooner we get our heads out, the less time we will spend on the bottom of the list...in the eyes of our country...and the rest of the world.
