So right under our nose CHOLERA is claiming many lives yet we seem to shift all the attention to EBOLA! According to W.H.O, theres been 2,342 cases of EBOLA in Africa(Sierra leon, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria). We already have 3,042 cases of CHOLERA just in Accra yet we are rather deploying steps to CONTROL the spread of EBOLA should we confirm of any case. I used the word spread because i dont think we have the necessary tool and adequate measures to distort the virus from discerning upon us. Am not saying we shouldnt take precautionary measures....but it seems weve turned a blind spot to averting the rather deadily CHOLERA. Our ignorance always turns to haunts us and with the hope of not rather killing ourselves before our prime, my heart goes out to the families affected.
