So roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives. Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness. God said, “I am holy; you be holy.” (1 Peter 1:13-16 MSG) (1) Be ready to receive from the Lord. He prepares something for those who deserve a reward for serving Him. Have your heart filled with good expectations! Dont you just love the thrill of God surprising you with what He thinks is best for you? Just as it kills the excitement when you impose what youll receive for a gift, so as not expecting something good from the Lord. Let God surprise you! Let Him decide! (2) Be persistent to follow the Lord, not just what you feel. You shall get rid of being emotionally-driven. Just at the time you changed your mood, you get to realize how in the world you ended up with that decision. To avoid regrets, following Jesus is the best! W-W-J-D! (3) Believe youre in the best life when with Jesus. Theres nothing better than knowing what on earth you are here for. Of course, with The Author of life, you get to discover the Best-est scenes yet to come! Your life without Jesus is nothing to compare to what God has prepared! EGG-ZAYTING MUCH! (4) Be energetic & Blaze with Holiness! A life shaped into Gods life is an assurance of a safe & secured life. If only people would realize how awesome God disciplines His children, I dont think wed still choose to rebel against Him.
