So sad but true. I am just as guilty of this as the next person. Weve become more concerned with fabricating a new social media friendly life and persona in hopes that everyone will 👍 us than being true to ourselves and showing who we really are. Pictures are taken in just the right angles to maximize our narcissistic delight. We fabricate random moments and snap pictures of them to make us look better. Our Facebook pages contain more pictures of ourselves than of others. We are more concerned with how many friends we have on our FB page (that we never talk to) than how many real friends we have in our cell phone contact list that we can actually call and lend a helping hand to. Social media is truly an nonsocial medium. The larger our social media friends list gets, the more isolated we become. The more likes we get for our fake social media life, the more we hate and disconnect from our real life. When will this all stop?!
