They put on the uniform everyday and put their lives in jeopardy for our safety. They save lives everyday and hardly get a mention. Why? Ill tell you why. They arent looking to be put on some pedestal. They dont consider themselves to be heroes. Unlike the athletes we all put on some pedestal and teach our children to aspire to be like, because they make tons of money.
