So something just happened that made my day. Ive been pretty bummed out, and needed this. I just visited my parents and as I was leaving my old neighborhood I saw an older man sitting on his porch playing an acoustic guitar. So I decided I would park and ask him if I could listen, and he was very open about it and encouraged it. So I sat down and we introduced ourselves and he started playing and singing and he was REALLY good, but humble about it. He asked if I play guitar and I told him I do, and I had my guitar in my car. So I got my guitar and he listened to me play and said I was very talented and he encouraged me to keep on with my music. He went on to tell me about how he had similar dreams when he was younger and he even wrote an album with his brother who also played guitar. It was really enlightening and Im glad I decided to stop and talk to him.
