So, sometimes people have a tragedy in their lives A huge medical bill pops up or someones house burns down. Those people might need some help getting back on their feet. But since when did the internet and FB give people a sense that they could set up a website and ask for money for almost anything? Am I the only person who still thinks that if you cant afford it, dont do it? Because you sit behind a computer screen, do you not feel shame asking for handouts? Do we not take any responsibility anymore for ourselves? My dog is sick. I cant pay my student loans. My horse needs surgery. If you need money for something, work harder for it. Or if you REALLY need money for something, ask someone in person for a LOAN. Unless you are a charity, you should not be asking for money. And dear Lord, if you send me a link to gofundme, you may not like my answer to your request. Rant over.
