So, spent three days with Ashley to celebrate her passing her exam and becoming an RN - WHOOP!!!. We also did the following with her: Meet one boyfriend, Cody - Very nice (cute, too). Shopped at IKEA. Went to AutoZone to fix Ashs car. Went to a garage to leave Ashs car to be fixed. Made one cat cabinet - or CPS as I call it. Threw out one old litter box. Emptied one storage closet. Sorted out two large tubs of Ashley stuff. Emptied one three drawer plastic file cabinet of Ashley stuff. Packed up and took five large plastic bags of stuff to Goodwill. Put on twelve new knobs on kitchen cabinets. Put together new table lamp. Did more than one trip to dumpster and recycling bin. Left two lamps by dumpster with notes saying Free. Working. One gone in 30 minutes and the other before nightfall. Moved a TON (actually they did weigh a ton!) of nursing books off her dining table and into the empty storage closet. Repacked one tub and the filing cabinet and moved into storage closet. Set up a new vanity table in her bedroom. Had a really nice trip to the Austin Aquarium with Ash and Cody and met Scarlet, the octopus. Played Settlers of Cantan in a comic book store. (Cody won.) Ate a truly delightful meal at Salty Sow on Ashelys nickel. Thanks! And for the first time ever....brought home stuff from her apartment to our house rather than the other way around. All and all a great visit. Love you, Ash.
