So spitting mad. Returning from our walk on our usual route, we passed a house where two dogs were outside. The owner was with them. We crossed to the other side of the road to avoid any type of provocation. The dogs came after Ausker. We began to spin around in circles to avoid the larger dog, but the owner stepped in to grab his dog. I almost went down on the ground while the larger dog latched onto his neck and wouldnt let go. The smaller dog, a bulldog, then joined in the fracas. The whole time the owner is screaming Trouble! but the larger dog wouldnt release. Somehow the owner got his dogs jaws loose enough (a feat in itself) to release his hold on Ausker, while at the same time Ausker slipped his collar and started to run away. He wasnt injured, thank God. What are the legal ramifications if I purchase mace and use it when a dog starts toward us?
