So, the Bouma family adventure for today was going White Water Rafting in Bryson City, NC. I wasnt all that excited (along w/a few other family members) to do this, but this was one thing that the birthday father-in-law requested that the whole family did... Well, at least I can say that we all did this, and I even got (the adventure...NOT) to swim in the class 2 rapids we were going thru...since the raft decided to push me off😠😩... I admit that I did panic a little for the 2mins I was in the 48* water... Till I was finally pulled out by the guide... This was the longest 2 mins I have had to stay in the water trying to swim on your back while rapid water is rushing over you and your face...I just remembered what the guide said, if you fall in, keep your nose and toes up and swim. Do not try to stand up! Not as easy as they say!! I am just glad I made it out without hitting too many rocks along the way... This was my first rafting trip and will be my last....😆😬
