So the City of Fresno says I owe them $314.00 from 2002 (nearly 13 years ago) and if I do not pay it within 2 days they will shut off my water at my new place where of course they have already billed me $160 through november 15th. I have talked to 4 different people 2 of which hung up on me. I DO NOT owe this money. They said that someone put me down as secondary? at an address that I never lived at. The only resolution they have offered is for me to make payment arrangements for a bill that I believe I do not owe. Making payment arrangements (or of course paying in full) is the only way (thus far) to keep them from shutting my water off in 48 hours. Yet if I make a payment arrangement I give up the ability to dispute the charges. I asked them if they could note on my account that I am making the payment arrangement under duress. Then they refused to make the payment arrangement that they said I have to make in order to keep my water. So now I am waiting for a manager to call me back they cant say when I will be called back. So once again SCREW YOU CITY OF FRESNO!!! I bet I dont even get a call back before they shut off my water. #cityoffresno #fresnoutilties
