So the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce decided not to have any food vendors at the light up Mount Dora. According to Rob English at the chamber they want to be extra sensitive to the businesses in Mount Dora. This means that all those people who come to Donnelly Park and expect to be able to buy a snack and a drink while they wait for the light up will have to walk downtown and wait at a restaurant to get something. Judging by how busy we were last year they should be adding vendors not eliminating them. Bad decision Mount Dora!!
