So, the Pope accepts evolution and says God isnt a wizard with a wand... But, in the same breathe he says the big bang and evolution were created by god, which makes his isnt a wizard with a wand statement a bit redundant and thats still someone clinging to the creationist side of things. Theres a difference between understanding evolution and accepting it. If he understood it, he would realise evolution disproves genesis, which means no Adam & Eve and therefore; no original sin, which is what Christianity is all about. Now, if the pope would be kind enough to stop protecting paedophiles & sending them to another parish to continue molesting children, itd be nice if he were to lift the ban on a number of African countries regarding condoms and thus helping to control the HIV/AIDS pandemic, it would also be nice if he shared some of the churchs wealth to help the poor, which is what their messiah was all about after all. The title shouldnt have been Pope accepts evolution it shouldve been Man in funny hat states the obvious. Sick and tired of people putting this guy on a pedestal because hes said a few nice (yet completely stupid) things about atheists and gay people (who are still persecuted by millions of Christians world wide). He is the head of a institution that has been responsible for a lot of human suffering, repression and paedophilia for a very, very long time.
