So, the bike/quad competitors tackled the Marathon Stage today (this means that there will be NO service crew at the overnight bivouac and they have to prepare their quads themselves for tomorrows stage) and the back-up crew had to wait at the Iquique bivouac... They decided to tackle the Big Dune - apparently 1350m high! Did they make it? Well... no, not to the top, but close... Philipie and Brian got the highest, but had to return due to the sand being too hot (ya-ya...) They might be on tv tonight! They say theyll do it again tomorrow when Hannes arrives...
