So the city schools have gone crazy with the eat healthy kick that they are on. We sent our kids ONE SMALL piece of candy in their lunch yesterday as a treat. Quin comes home and says that a lunch lady/teacher made her throw her candy away before she could finish it. Max was able to eat his but he said the teachers were giving him the ugly look. BACK OFF Lynchburg City Schools. If I want to send a small treat with my kids to school then deal with it. We make our kids healthy lunches every day. We make sure they have a fruit and/or veg. of some kind. I have seen some of the things other kids bring in their lunches every day, I think a small piece of candy is ok.
