So the govt is looking into taking DSP away from any DSP recipient - TopicsExpress

So the govt is looking into taking DSP away from any DSP recipient with a work capacity, that would be around 2/3rds in fact, even people with severe intellectual disability whom work in a business service technically have a work capacity because they are working and being paid. This has nothing to do at all with assisting people, helping them to have better lives, it is purely to save money at the front end without any real thought into just why these people are DSP recipients anyway or what the cost to the state public health systems will be. How many DSP recipients already live below the poverty line because the cost of managing their disability, paying their bills, eating and clothing themselves already takes up their entire pension payment? Kevin Andrews may like to spend one month living on a DSP, living with a disability and going through that life before he makes cynical, sensational, uninformed and stupid remarks about DSP recipients being parked on welfare, maybe they have no choice you DH? Its not like govt departments have a great record of employing anyone with a disability now is it Kevin?
