On behalf of the Student Life office at the University of North Texas at Dallas, we wish to congratulate you on your outstanding academic achievement. Your success has made you eligible for membership in a student organization called Lambda Delta National Honor Society. Founded in 1924 at the University of Illinois, Alpha Lambda Delta has over 270 chapters in the United States. The mission of Alpha Lambda Delta is to encourage superior academic achievement, to promote intelligent living and a high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals in society. By inviting you to become a member of this prestigious honor society, we hope to encourage you to maintain academic excellence throughout your college career and to offer you the opportunity to develop friendships with other students who have serious academic interests. Your eligibility for membership is based on your high GPA of 3.5 or better while enrolled full-time. We commend you on attaining this! Induction ceremony will take place on next Thursday, October 3rd at 7:00 pm in Founder’s Hall 138A&B. You must RSVP by Monday to be eligible for induction.
