So, the homeopathic treatment I was given to treat my depression and anxiety showed some promising signs that it will work. I started to feel better and more like myself for about a week. It was incredible. Unfortunately, the dose was likely not great enough and I began struggling again a few days ago. I talked to my doctor about what was going on and she prescribed me a stronger dosage. I am really looking forward to seeing if it will give me more of a sustained benefit. I have a good feeling about it. Just like with the first go-around however, the medicine seems to bring everything to a head before it gets better -- like all of my symptoms swell to the surface where they are left exposed and vulnerable. This stage is a good sign though -- it means the medicine is working. I also go back to my doctor this week to go over my blood work and neurotransmitter tests. I hope the results empower me the awareness of what is going on beneath the surface, and a plan of action to move forward.
