So the local elections are on this Friday . I would just like to point out a few of the Cllrs That are up on posters in Drogheda looking for your vote that that have a really bad problem with having weekends away in lovely hotels on your money . Each Councillor has an allocation to go to -conferences - but really there weekend breaks that are organised by there own partys and friends of their parties so they can have fun . Now most of these Cllrs have really good jobs as well as nice expenses from the council and yet they still spend there allocation on trips or golf or a hotel spa etc , where our party members turn our conference money in community grant money to give to football clubs/ schools / brownies / cubs/scouts / charitys etc because FG/lab have cut most of these organisations funding . Anyway here is a list of some some of the cllrs and there expenses from 2009 till now ( remember some of them have been on the council a lot longer than 2009 and spent a lot more than this ) This list of Drogheda Councillors (Fine Gael & Lab amd IND have been having a ball on junkets whilst the same are telling you that you have to pay Property Tax and Water Tax.
