So the long and the short... pun intended is Ninja required that - TopicsExpress

So the long and the short... pun intended is Ninja required that their 13/3000 tank supplier started manufacturing the Ninja tanks slightly under two (2) inches in diameter. Ninja had a very valid reason for this. Any tank that is under this diameter does not require hydro testing. The tank manufacture had to compensate for this slight reduction in diameter, by making the tank longer by 1/8th inch. This kept the tanks at the advertised volume of 13 cubic inch. From our stand point we designed the guide rods for the SAR12C around the original tank length. Thus anyone that has a tank from Ninja that has a date stamp on or before December 2013 should be ok with the C chassis. We did some testing with the P3 reg on the SAR and it performed well. We also had concerns about the build quality of these regs; however, as you have come to expect from us, we wouldnt install a product that we didnt feel was of quality. When we go to run more of the guide rails for the butt stock we will extend the final position to account for the extended length of the revised Ninja tanks. We apologize in advance of this unforeseeable issue. David Williams CEI
