So the meeting has happened and there is little changed, The park is closed to tourist until further notice. Later this week or next we are supposed to receive a high level delegation from Bangui, including the minister of Forets the minister of defence, The Country Director of WWF and several others to asses the situation and make recommendations...... No matter what the next decision is it is too late for our clients who were literally standing in the airline queue last week when we pulled the plug. All in the meeting agreed that it is important to reopen the park as soon as possible. This does however seem unlikely and as our finances have now completely dried and the hope of getting clients anywhere soon, out the door we will be leaving here in 2 weeks time, returning maybe when the tide turns again in our favour. It is very trying to keep living on the good favour of friends and supporters and we thanks you for all you have done or us and the park until now.
