So the midterm grades of econ 214 are out; the average turned out to be 29.75806452 to be accurate.Why in hell should the average of a midterm be 30. I cant understand this.How is this beneficial for students?! Why should the exam be THAT tough?!So Richard Sadakas logic is: The lower the average the better grasp students get of the course..In what world does this make sense.This non-sense has been going on for years in this department.Anyways, it doesnt make sense that a course as important as econometrics be given by just one professor no matter how good that professor is.In all respectable departments, major courses are usually given by more than one professor.SO keef ezza Sadaka was giving the course!!I dont know about you guys but Im heading to Dr.Saltis office asap and maybe we should sign a petition for the course to be given in a more student-friendly manner.This utter craziness needs to stop even if I eventually pass the course, but the way the course is given is DESTRUCTIVE to the students morale.Please let me know what you think.
