So the new Total Drama Island series debuts tonight on CN, and will run for two weeks on the Network straight through with its episodes. People have been asking my thoughts on it, so Ill give them. Let this show die. Please. I loved the Original Total Drama Island, I dont care who knows it, because it was a great series. Good characters, good plot, good development. It was a great rib at the Survivor Shows, and it did a great job at it. Hell, I even personally talked to Christian Potenza (Voice of Chris McLean from TDI, Jude from 6Teen, and more.), Awesome dude, he sent me a personal Graduation Video a few years back), and yeah, loved the series. Then the sequels started getting pumped out. The Aftermath Special of season 1 was brilliant too, but as the seasons progressed, I felt like they didnt expect the show to be as popular as it was, so they had to create more new character traits, and they didnt work, and characters started to look bad, lose all likability, and become Spongebobs of their former selves, until they eventually replaced them with a new cast, and now a NEW new Cast of even more stereotypical characters. At this point, it just feels like the TDI Series has just run its course.Coming from a long time supporter of the series, knowing people who work on the series, it just feels like its lost what made it special, and at this point is just coming out with new season to milk the success of season 1. Maybe the new season will be good, maybe itll surprise me, but honestly? I am not holding my breath.
