So, the numbers game, eh? Abby Parker yesterday gave me the #7. Hrmmm.... 1) I was locked up for 7 months when I was 15 years old. Nobody was killed, but I was a rather troubled young un. 2) My first ever day as a bike messenger was the first Tuesday of April, 1992. I dont remember the date. It only rained a little bit that day. A cold rain. 3) A couple months into my 10 grade school year in WV, I was jumped from behind in the hallway and had several teeth knocked out. I have 5 fake ones now, and still have more to get. I never went back to high school after that. 4) I went to a cheap program to learn word processing in early 1992. Before becoming a bike messenger, I did an internship writing sales letters and a brochure for the Pgh Childrens Museum. 5) Although Ive been in a couple bands and play guitar publicly at least a couple times a month, I cannot read music or have ever had a lesson. 6) My father was arrested over a dozen times when I was a kid. Other kids would sometimes beat me up because the pops was a known child molester. He died in 1997, at age 56. 7) Ive had over 50 poems and short stories published in the 1990s. I was never paid more than $10 for any given one. None of the publications that accepted me had a circulation of over 1,000. Sorry to bore yall.
