So the otherday I got a random message from this recruitment consultant lady through my LinkedIn account, at 1st I was slightly suspicious due to the randomness of it but I looked at her profile and it seemed legit so I messaged her back and she asked for my CV, so I emailed her my CV and then she requested an interview with me....... I had the interview today which went really well and shes putting me forward for a really exciting role she has on offer... This recruitment consultant was able to find me bassed on my skills and work history which enabled her to match me to a role shes recruiting for. I didnt even apply for it nor did she know that I will soon be unemployed. Lol... I wanted to tell this story to let people know the value of LinkedIn, cause up untill now, I never really got much out of it to be honest, I just saw it as an online CV and a way to keep in touch with ex-collegues... The world we live in is ever changing and the way we seek employment or employers seek candidates for that matter is very different from how things were done a few years ago. This is proof of that and Ive now found great value in LinkedIn... Anyways, that was a bit of a novel for ya. Lol... #WishMeLuck
