So the person with the unpaid bill FINALLY came in and paid her and her boyfriends bill for $51. It took over a month to collect. She left the waitress a $2 tip. She insists she was somehow the victim in all of this and apparently doesnt realize that we were the victims as was her server that night who worked her ass off and then had to cover her bill because she didnt have the money to be in here drinking in the first place. There is so much more to this story...and this is not the first time her card was declined and she had to be chased down to pay her bill but it certainly is the last because we are barring her from our establishment. We are not running a non profit for irresponsible patrons here! This is a business, family owned and operated. We are not a large corporation who can absorb the loss when people steal from us. It is getting increasingly harder and harder for people in this country to own small businesses and survive and this is one reason why. Yes, we could ask for a credit card up front every time someone walks in our door, but we know most of you by name, weve celebrated your birthdays with you, laughed with you, and weve hugged you or offered you words of encouragement when youve had a bad day. You are our customers and you choose whether we thrive as a business or fail! We dont want to fail...and we appreciate those of you IMMENSELY, who choose to spend your hard earned dollars here!
