So the students are burning up their PACES. Since they were told the news that if their levels were completed before the year, they would not have to stay at school for the remainder of the year, all are working committedly towards their goals. Most of them are averaging two to three paces a week and one student is already meeting her goal of five PACES a week, in order to complete her level by end of Term 2. For the High Schoolers, they are required to complete a minimum of 72 PACEs for each level, while the Primary students have a total of 60 PACES in each level. Such is the beauty of this curriculum - its flexibility. No student is held back if they are fast learners, and the slower learners can work at their own pace without the pressure of meeting teachers rigorous deadlines and schedules.
