So the surgeon came by. He is still hoping the nausea will improve, and that its still the effects of the surgery. Plus, prior to surgery, he was living with a partial obstruction of the duodenum/jejunum due to scar tissue. Thats likely whats caused his nausea the past several years. Hes changing his diet to full liquids, hoping that having food in his stomach will encourage it to start working. I sure hope it works, and Jaya is excited to start eating (well, sort of eating). He wants a milkshake, but I think they only have ice cream, I dont think thats a bad compromise, though ;-) I got word that my van is done, yippee! And if Jaya tolerates his solid food, we could be out of here tomorrow! Oh, and I guess tomorrow is the one week anniversary, not today. The surgeon told me its the day the surgery ENDS, not begins...technicalities...LOL.
