So there I am being proactive, making sure Ive pulled all the various paint from the shed to the basement for winter. Im rolling, Ive got my milk crate full and Im carrying 3 spray cans in a bag. As I head for the door another can of Rustoleum Fire Engine Red spray enamel catches my eye. I turn to set the bag on a bench before reaching for the unopened spray can, unfortunately I also brush the tail of my coat against a whatever which falls against the can, which heads directly for the floor, but has its fall broken by the steel corner of a jack stand, which punches a neat round hole in the side of the can, through which a very bright red cloud whooshes paint...... all over anything within 10 feet of impact. Barrels, toolboxes, workbench, lawnmowers, garage doors, the floor is puddled around the offending can. Covered with shiny red are Duanes newest pair of jeans, Duanes 1 week old nice guy shoes, and last, but very certainly not least: the just finished on Saturday, beautifully custom painted, Blue and Grey impact socket box. There is so much red in that bay and in the air that I feel like Clint Eastwood in a serape chewing on a cheroot......
