So, there have been issues in Jakes class at school. One of the other boys is a huge bully ... teasing, trying to get Jake in trouble, saying bad words, the whole nine. I have talked to his teacher numerous times and sent notes, but this behavior has not changed. Well, yesterday this kid tackled Jake at recess and scraped up his elbow. He did tell the teacher outside, but all they did was have him sit on the bench. This behavior is not stopping and has now gotten physical. We have taught Jake not to fight back, so he gets bullied a lot due to his nice nature and not wanting to get other kids in trouble. I wrote another note to his teacher about the physical incident yesterday. Who else has dealt with their kid getting bullied, and what did you do to try to prevent it? Name calling is one thing, but physically attacking my child goes to a whole other level!
