So, there is a beach in St Maarten that I believed is called Maho beach - but its known as Airport Beach. The reason for this is because there is an airport literally a few feet from the beach and the planes land and take off within feet of you. We had been watching the planes land for a while and one went to take off. So, Grace, Andy, and I decided to stand behind the plane as it took off with a group of people. What we didnt know is just how INCREDIBLE the force gets and youll see in this video - it literally blew Grace and I across the street into the sand at the beach. My glasses flew from my face and my heavy purse and phone flew feet from me. Not only that, but it blows the sand at you and it feels like small bullets hitting you. Seriously hurts. Anyways, sorry for the huge explanation, but it ended up being a definitely bucket list check off. It was amazing and Im just glad I lived to tell the story. ✈️😉
