So there is this regular pani puri wala that we go to near our office. And there is another guy who joined him recently as his assistant if I may say. Our pani puri wala is this big happy smile wala person, always chatting up. But this other guy never smiled. Every time we would to wave a goodbye or thank him he would look away, just not smile! But the happiness advocate that I am, that somewhere stupidly bothered me. So I kept telling him a proper smiley thank you bhaiya every day in hope that he would smile. He wasnt some big celebrity or some hottie I crushed upon, then how did his smile even matter to me? I used to keep asking shweta - why doesnt he smile yaar? How can someone have a constant frown on their face. And she kept saying - let it be, aisa hi hoga. But today finally, after some 3 weeks, not only did he smile a big smile , he even waved to us when we were walking by. And I screamt - dude, he actually smiled! I was really happy. And for a long time on my way back I kept thinking why? How could this make me so happy? And I realized that that seeing someone happy really makes me happy. And somewhere within I did want him to smile a happy smile. A smile of confidence in this rather chaotic world. I dont know if a lot of you would find this weird and random. And I dont even know why I am actually putting this up as a proper post, but its something that I felt like sharing and surely something that Im storing up in my digital happiness jar, which his Facebook of course
