So theres this kid here, Kamogelo. Kamo came to the Diary Of Umakhwapheni auditions. When we were done for the day, she walked up to us, me and my colleagues and she asked for my Facebook username, stating that she wanted to add me on Facebook. After telling her, I asked why she was specifically asking for my username. I was asking that question because I believed that people who came to the auditions would be dying to be in contact with the writer of the diary. I also added that it was not like I was even that talkative. She said you dont have to talk in order for people to see that you have a good heart. A good heart? I asked myself. The kid and I didnt even interact that much, which good heart was she talking about? But I decided to let it slide. She added me on Facebook. She sent me a message, telling me she was leaving (she came to the auditions, all the way from Cape Town). So I wished her a safe trip and all that. Izolo she told me she was home and I asked unjani umama?. I picked up from our previous chats that she had a strong bond with her mother, so I had to ask. Her response was shes fine sisi thanks, and I told her about you.. Shocked, I asked what she told her mother, and she said that you are a great soul.. But Kamogelo, this kid shocks me. Its like she sees in me what other people dont see. I dont know how she could conclude all of that in that short space of time. #ShockedForYears
