So this became a day to remember. As I walk into my house from a long day of work I find my neighbors ( wonderful people) in my living room with my boys. I am promptly told emergency personel have been called and we are not to remove the towel and ice from my five year olds face. Apparently a can opener handle flew apart as my oldest was being goofy and dancing around flailing his arms and the heavy and sharp part hit him in the face. After a living room full of emergency people ( all very helpful and very kind) the decision is made that we will be traveling to the er via ambulance. Some time later and one very tough showing from a little boy ( not one tear) he has seven stitches! Long night for a momma but I have some amazing kids !
