So, this day has finally arrived... It is with a mix of great sadness and lots of love that we say good-bye to Joy Redmond, Libertines little whirling dervish of a General Manager. Joy has been looking after Libertine and her guests for the last 4 and a half years. In that time she has touched the lives of all who have passed through her doors…not just guests who have become friends but staff, suppliers, colleagues & a certain Chelsea manager. Through hard work, dedication and her distinct Irish hospitality, Joy has made many occasions special and memorable for thousands of people. Joy is leaving to travel a little, pick up some more life experiences and spend time working and drinking wine in France. We know we will see her again…. Personally, without Joys leadership and professionalism, I would not have been able to expand my businesses i.e. Popolo and The Gresham. Having someone as trustworthy and loyal as Joy is unique and she has set the benchmark for future management. Always a joy, Joy…all of us, past and present, will miss you greatly. It wont be the same without you but Libertine is better for having had you here…. We wish you all the very best Love Always, Andrew, Jaimee, Rosie, Lola and all of us at Libertine xx
