So, this day was the best of days and the worst of days. I do plumbing because people pay me to do it. Its not because I particularly enjoy it. I dont usually mind that much. Today I needed to replace a toilet that was cracked. So I took the tank loose from the bowl and set it aside to throw away while I finished working on the bowl for a minute. As I turned around I lightly bumped the tank which fell against my leg. What I havent mentioned yet is that there was a sharp piece of the bowl still bolted to the tank which gashed my leg. So I calmly took a paper towel and folded it several times and bound it up with electrical tape. Im getting to the bad part. I stopped at Subway for a $2 sandwich special, and set my food and drink on my table. I then went to the restroom to wash the toilet off me and while I was doing that, someone took my coat with my keys in the pocket. I didnt immediately miss it and when I went outside to leave, I couldnt find my keys. Since I dont often wear a coat it took a while to realize what happened. To cut to the chase, when my friend brought the extra set, I drove slowly around the long block looking under bushes and so forth. I saw a coat hanging on a fence about a quarter mile from the Subway shop, pulled over and found my coat with keys in the pocket. Thank you God, for letting me find the coat. Im blessed. Joyce made me go to the emergent care and I got a bunch of staples.
