So this guy on Twitter was angry at Islam because of IS, jihad, etc. I tried to explain that not all Muslims believe in Jihad; that its really only a minority of people who want to go round beheading Western journalists. He wasnt having it despite the fact that he claimed that there were 350 million jihadists in the world, out of 1.57bn Muslims (his statistics). He claimed I had no argument, despite the fact that I had to keep explicitly telling him that NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE JIHADISTS. Nope, he wasnt having it. I was called a left-wing prat because I couldnt see the dangers of Islam. Alright then. It was much to my amusement when he cited his tutor as being a self-described Marxist. Dude, you can throw around all the names of terrorist organisations if you want. But that proves nothing, certainly not that all Muslims are terrorists. Its similar to when Blair said to Farage, you sit with our countrys flag, but you do not represent our interests. Just because all of one faction acts in the name of something, that does not mean you can attribute all of their evil to one billion other individuals who would never entertain the idea of jihad.
