So... this happened today... at Tehachapi Willow Springs trail head in Mojave... in the rain. :( He popped up over Cameron Ridge...riding on the trail...and stopped right there at Cameron and Willow Springs. Pretty sure he wanted to keep going up and over in to Oak Creek, but I happened to be getting my gear out of my car to go that same direction. He took off and went back down Cameron Cyn on the paved road when he saw me. Note where he parked himself? Later, as Id gone down the trail, I heard him come back. For those that have been in this area, you know that as you go can see the trailhead parking lot multiple times from the trail. It was him for sure, but he was stopped by some guys in work trucks heading in to Oak Creek to work on the turbines. Somebody else had definitely been there recently... there were bike tracks past the pipe gate.
