So, this has to do with my amazing job that I wouldnt trade for anything. There are all kinds of ideas out there about summer sales that people come up with that have never actually tried it. Its a scam or a get rich quick scheme that doesnt work or whatever other negative connotations that come along with the job, but I can promise you that there is no other job that you could ever do that will change your life faster. Im not talking about money, I am talking about your work ethic, personal drive, and self motivation. You will learn more about yourself and what you can do that you will with any other job. You will never understand how much you have underestimated yourself until you spend a whole summer on your own driving yourself to just knock one more door. Not only will you become more self motivated but you will learn a valuable life skill that most people never learn, which is the ability to sell yourself. If you can learn to sell yourself you will get any job you every apply for because you will be able to make yourself stand out above the competition. Along with all of this, you have the opportunity to make life changing amounts of money. No, Im not rich and didnt get rich quick. I worked harder for 4 months than I ever have and it has paid off for me. This job isnt all about the money, you become life long friends with the people you are selling with and become closer with those people in a few months than people youve known your whole life. I love the guys I work with and would do anything for them. I honestly believe that everyone should dedicate at least one summer of their life to trying it because of the valuable life lessons you learn, not because of the money, the money is just a bonus.
