So this is the game. Makes for some self reflection. My number is 9! 9 things you might not know about me... 1. My mum made my dress for my year 12 school ball. I was a typical ungrateful teenager who wanted a fashionable store bought dress, until everyone was commenting how amazing my dress was. My mum is a talented sewer and did that for me out of love and I am such a lucky daughter to have her. It was pretty funny though when I tore one thread leaning over in the limo on the way and had to call her saying my dress was ‘falling apart’. She said I was like Cinderella. 2. I am currently studying transpersonal counselling. This means one day I may be able to help people help themselves as a profession. I am also learning heaps about myself through doing this course. I am loving it! 3. I started a Burlesque dance course this year and have now performed on stage 3 times :) I did actually have to get hypnotised before the first time as I felt I would rather die than get up on stage! Now I love it and I really believe if you want to do anything you can – just try! 4. I have never broken any bones. Touch wood lol. 5. It is my 10 year anniversary with my partner tomorrow – things have never been perfect but I’m glad we have gone through the good and bad times together. I’ve learnt so much from him, and I hope he feels the same. Still no ring on the finger though ;) hehe 6. I once suffered from anxiety and was on medication for at least two years. I could barely leave the house at that time. After starting my Pure Romance my Jane business I built up the passion and confidence I needed to believe I was good enough. Career changes can be very good for your health! 7. I moved out at 18 years old and have moved house 11 times in the last 10 years! My goal next year is to buy a house…so I am going to be working hard at my business to get what I want. 8. I am the eldest of a family with 5 kids; a brother and three younger sisters. We nearly all live in different towns all over Australia. Despite the distance I am glad we are all close. I remember I used to love dressing them all up, make-up and hair and doing photo shoots (yes even my brother!) for as long as they would let me. Scary times for them! 9. I love watching paranormal shows but am the biggest woos! I actually get more scared listening to the intro or ending music so I fast forward those parts haha. I would like to go out on a ghost tour but don’t know how scared I will be :P I will do it one day though! Like my status and I will give you a number too!!
