So this is the truck Im buying. Stats: 2008 Kenworth T600 C-15 Caterpillar twin turbo (475 hp stock) ARGO 440 suspension 10 speed Eaton Fuller (prefer the 13 speed, but short on cash) 3.36 gears (prefer 3.55 or higher but...cash) Thermo King APU unit. Thats a unit that self provides both heat and A/C as well as charges the batteries all while using 1/8 of a gallon of fuel during a 10 hour period. Which mean the truck does not have to run saving engine hours and the life of the engine. Now its slightly used and has 611,000 on her which isnt bad. But because she got a Cat under the hood, anything over 62 mph shell only get 5.5 mpg. On the flip side, thats hauling 0---40,000 lbs. Cat are the monsters of road trucks, they have power out the ass, both low and high torque. But they get the same mpgs empty or loaded. Quiet frankly, Ive fallen in love with her. Ive driven her for a few days, and let me tell ya...shes been good to me. She rides nice an smooth. Shifts nicely, no jerking or spitting the stick back out, she just falls into the slot. REALLY REALLY REALLY and I can NOT stress this enough, REALLY turns so easy. I mean Cadillac style! Almost one finger to spin the wheel!! Loaded @ that to boot! And she sounds nice when she comes live..nice deep low thunderous growl bellows from within if ya pounce on the skinny pedal or get her under a heavy load up a hill.
